I heard this is possible. I have a 30 GB IPod and i only have 711 MB left. what is it called.

You can't...well...you can buy a bigger hard drive... but that costs a lot. And you don't seem to know a lot about iPod's...so I'll highly doubt you will be able to open it up and replace the hard drive yourself. But if you insist: http://www.ipodmods.com/shop/hard-drives.html

You can't buy more memory for your Ipod. If you had the Zune you could, but you have to buy a new Ipod if you want more memory.

iPods don't have expandable memory, the only option would be to delete some of the stuff you have on there or upgrade to the 80GB model...

WHOA!!!! 30GB IPOD?!?!?!?!omg.... anyways, ummm i think whoevr tol you that you can gain more memory for your ipod is a lie. you'd have to get a new ipod all together...
