Unfortunately no.
Apple have yet to fix this.
But send it back to apple saying it doesnt work (through apple.com) and they will send you a brand new one for free.

You have two solutions, neither of which are very appealing. One is that you can just start scrolling through the 10,000 possible combinations until you hit it. The other is that you can Restore to Factory Settings, and everything in your iPod will be reset. Just make sure you've saved anything that you don't want to lose, because this will wipe the sync info as well, which means the next time you hook it up to your computer it will appear as if it was a new iPod and delete everything that you'd previously synced to it.
