is there a first generation 8gb ipod?

just a quick question- was there ever a first gen ipod which had an 8gb capacity? or are they just available in second gen? cheers!

1st generation only had 5. Second generation had the 8.

According to the Wikipedia page, neither the G1 nor G2 iPods came in 8GB capacity. To date, the only models that have been released in that capacity are the black or Product(Red) G2 Nanos.
