I want to buy a SLR camera, but I'm not sure if I should buy a digital one or not. I already have a regular Sony digital camera that is pretty good. I don't really ever use a dark room so i would just be sending my film to CVS. Which do you think will be more useful for me. I also do not have a lot of money. I am 15 and I will be working over the summer, thats pretty much all the money I will have.

Oh the reason why I want one is because I go hiking in the Appelation(sp) Mountins and I want to take good photos.

please help me!
any advice is good!

Has anybody used the three in one under water digital cameras that video tape and take still photos up to 9ft under water? I'm reffering to ones that are around $30-$50 (e.g. Jazz 1.3 under water digital camera and wp-400)? What was your experience with them? would you recommend using them for snorkling? Thanks!

I need to buy a new digital camera, and I want something that's new to the market and stylish. And not too pricey. Any recommendations?

I have got a Sony S40 ...4,1 megapixels camera....
But with Zoom facilities ..it is lacking a lot... only 3 optical.
I want something a bit more advanced....
What type should I buy that has good or big Megapixels and at least 12 optical zoom...

I admit to being clueless when it comes to the equipment aspect of photography...
I am considering switching from film SLR to digital SLR. My question is in regards to lenses. I have over $3000 in lenses...telephoto, wide angle, etc. I have heard that you can use lenses interchangebly between film and digital cameras...given they are the same manufacturer or course (I use Canon). Is this true? I would hate to buy all new lenses if I choose to purchase a digital SLR.
Thanks!

Hello, I own a digital Olympus D-550 Zoom camera-cord fit perfectly into my HP-XP tower serial port which allowed me to download my photos. My tower went down, so I am using an older one HP98. Now I am unable to download my photos, because plug will not fit into port. Is there some type of adapter available?? Thanks a bunch for any help--Lisa

I realize that the XTi is the improved version of the XT, but I have heard from certain sources that the improvements are not entirely positive and that the XTis actually the better camera. I have also heard that since they have the same sensor, the XTi simply stretches the same image out farther. Please help.
