There should be a cord that came with your digital camera. Simply plug in to both your computer and your camera and turn the camera on. Viola! Your computer should recognize the attachment and ask you questions accoringly.

As a rule, a digital camera will have a slot on it somewhere that accepts a cord, and that cord will have a USB connector on the other end. Older cameras may have a serial plug rather than USB, but that's less likely. The cord is connected at both ends, and then using Windows Explorer you can see the connection as a "drive", similar to the C drive etc. Once you find that drive, you will see your photo files in Windows Explorer, and can move them from the camera to another folder on your hard drive. Hope this helps.

You usually get a cable that comes with the camera....
you connect that onto the camera and then to your USB ports on your PC.
Your PC will bring up a screen and from there you choose ... open folder.
Or you go to My Computer icon on you desktop and from the items that opens...choose ...Removable disk or the name of the camera... say Canon.
Open that folder until you get to the photos you're looking for.
Just Drag and Drop them onto your desktop or into a folder that you've created or want them to be in...
Switch of PC or Camera before removing it or click on icon in right hand corner that shows Camera and then if your PC says...."its Safe to remove device now"..then you can remove it.

With a USB cable usually. You need to have a software on your PC or computer, but today most of the camaras are plug and play, with Windows. If it requieres any additional software it might promt you to download it from the manufacturer's site ( Canon, Samsung...whatever). It is very easy to use and you can print the pictures or keep them on your hard drive too and send them via e-mail to family and friends !!! Enjoy

Same as Kessy says. Just plug this cord into your camera and computer and a screen should pop up with questions for you.
