I need to buy a new digital camera, and I want something that's new to the market and stylish. And not too pricey. Any recommendations?

It depends on what you mean by "not too pricey."
I just bought a Canon Powershot SD900 for $350 and, in my opinion, it is not only a great camera, but very stylish.
The whole digital Elph line (SD cameras) is very stylish.
Some examples:
SD 600 - $220
SD 630 - $255 - but it lacks a real viewfinder
SD 1000 - $300 - this is so new and stylish, it is not available yet
SD 700 IS - $325 - this is an excellent camera with image stabliization
SD 750 - $350 - also not yet available
SD 900 - $350 - ultimately, my top choice
SD 800 IS - $355 - also has image stablization

You wil have to add a decent memory card to these cameras to get the most out of them. You can get a 1 GB Sandisk Ultra II for $40, so add that to the prices above.

Casio Cameras are really nice- take a look at the:
Casio Exilim EX-Z1050
Casio Exilim EX-Z70
Casio Exilim EX-Z5
They are all really stylish and not terrible priced. Plus they come in awesome colors that other cameras don't come in
