I found my boyfriend's old digital camera and I found the wire to hook it to my computer. I'm able to take pictures with it, but I'm not sure how to make videos... If anyone can help me that'd be great:-) Thanks!

I mean for on the computer, not on the camera itself. I know how to do that.

There should be some icon of a movie camera somewhere, either on the cam body itself or inside the software. That's the video feature...something that lasts a few min, depending on cam card size.

However, if you hook this up to a PC and turn the vid feature on, you should have it run automatically on a "revolve" run, the image would be "shutter slow" but it's an image.

Your best bet would be to find cams that today go for $20--stuff that CAN be made into a vid cam.

I think you are looking for video editing software. Follow the link given, there is a link on that page to a list of software.
