trying to use digi-camera to take photos for e-bay., close up as small items. zoom looks ok when i take items. but always blurred when on the laptop. obviously new to digital cameras and laptop!!!
normal photos ok. my camera only has 3 settings for pictures. all of which are not on the recommended setting for ebay.it a praktica ssimplex 5200.

So I got an inexpensive camera for Christmas (Sanyo Xacti 6 Megapixel) and I'm not sure if I am just still learning how to use it or if there's something defective about the camera. Everytime I take a photo indoors, regardless of the light, the picture is ALWAYS overexposed. I don't know if the flash is too bright or what, but I am getting really tired of having overexposed photos. I have tried all the different settings, Auto, Portrait, even the "night" setting, and seen no results. When I try turning the flash off, the picture comes out blurry and dark. Is there a secret I don't know about or is this just a "cheap" camera that doesn't take good pictures?? Please help.

Hi,
I'm just wondering if someone can give me information on digital cameras. I'm looking at purchasing a new one, possibly a Canon SD 600, 630, or 800, and they have all of these 'ISO' listings? What does this mean? Also any type of general info would be great as well! Thanks so much!

I have a digital camera (Vivitar ViviCam 5386). Usually, I just plug it in and press the "on" button. Then the blue light on front blinks and the little pop-up box opens on the computer asking if I want to upload the pictures, etc.

Today, I plugged it in and pressed the on button and the camera turned on (normally the blue light on the front would just come on and not the actual camera). The pop-up box is no where to be seen..neither is the blue light.

So what's up with my camera? Or is the computer the problem? By the way, I tried to upload them on two different computers (one regular computer, one laptop computer) and it didn't work on either one.

I asked this yesterday and they suggested that maybe my USB cord was damaged. I thought that might be the problem, however when I hook up the camera to the computer the computer "blings" when I plug it in. Does that mean the cord isn't damaged? If anyone can help..I'd be extremely grateful! :-)

I bought all these awesome lenses for my old canon ae-1 and now need a converter. What new digital camera body works with the old lenses? Theyre in excellent shape. I keep hearing mixed reviews about converters that either they do exist or they dont or if they do exist you loose quality. Where can I get a converter and what digital body is compatible with FD lenses?

I'm using 400 speed film, N65 Nikon with setting on automatic, SB-600 flash. The pictures are grainy in all settings, but especially in darker environments.

Hello everybody! I just got a used Canon 10D as a gift. This is my first DSLR camera and I have very mixed feelings about it. First of all, I already have a couple of consumer Canons (Powershot A620 and S3is) that I quite like. 10D on the other hand has a great body with excellent controls, but I am not very impressed with its performance. I am using a 50mm 1.8f Canon lens by the way. So, I was thinking about the following options:
1. Keep the camera and just keep on learning :-)
2. Sell it on eBay and get a Nikon D40
3. Sell it and add a little more to buy a Nikon D80
4. Buy something altogether different, that you may suggest.

Camera/Computer Problem
ok i used my digital camera to record a video for a project, but when i try to put it on the computer, the computer only finds the pictures that are on the camera. How do i get the video onto the computer?
