I am an experienced 35mm user, and have switched to digital (Nikon D70s). Please can someone explain to me the change in focal lengths - ie. what are the digital equivalents of the classic 28mm 35mm 50mm 70mm 85mm 135mm and 210mm lenses for 35mm cameras - I know it is to do with the size of the sensor ?

My digital cameras are two years old and in bad shape. ( D70 cameras ) My film cameras lasted me 5 to 7 years before I had to have new ones. Why do digital cameras fall apart so fast? ( Note: When I shoot weddings I shoot about 800 pictures per wedding)

Too vauge? Okay, so here's the deal. I spilled Diet Coke into my purse, because I'm a total moron! It wasn't much, maybe a couple tablespoons at the most. The thing is some of it hit my Olympus digital camera! I know, oops! I took the batteries out, the let it dry, but it still won't come on this morning. I opened up the little hatch for the Xd card and took that out, hoping to dry it out. What should I do? Please don't tell me that I've ruined my camera! It was expensive and I can't afford another one! Any ideas? I would be MOST grateful! Thanks in advance, I appreciate your help!

If I want to keep taking pictures and getting them developed at the photo shop is it worth getting a digital camera/ I like that you can see the picture on the camera after you take them but how do you get them developed if you do not have a printer to do so . And would prefer to just get the ones you like developed? Or can you, thanks for any help.

Hey, Ive been looking for a camera for a couple days now and Ive come to a conclusion. The Nikon D50 with Nikon 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6 G Autofocus Lens for 500 dollars or the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT for 600 with Canon 18-55mm EF-S Lens. I am going to use this camera to take sports pictures and Im not sure which one would be best for that, keeping in mind the 100 dollar difference.

Here is a link of the D50

I was advised to buy a VR 18-200mm lens, but because of supply & demand it runs about $900. Is there any alternatives? Whats excellent for night shots? Close-up? Portrait? Low-light conditions? Is Tamron a great combination with a Nikon D80? Additional flash recommendations?

Low cost online stores for photography equipment?

Thank you so much.
