Am I to understand Fugifilm FinePix S5200 can't take more than a 128MB memory?

Is so at 5MP that would only be about 100 shots.

I would seriously doubt it. I have a Fuji S7000 which if memory serves me correctly is older than your S5200 and it runs fine with a 1GB card in it. 6MP and some 300 odd shots.

I don't know if you are to understand it or not.

Am I to understand what exactly you are asking and what is your source of information is?

I have a 5MP Fuji -- more like 50 shots.
