There are many different type of lenses that come in varying lenths (mm). The packages are as follows:

1. package 1--28-90mm, 90-300mm; and
2. package 2--18-50mm, 55-200mm.

Which one would be better to purchase? Also, can someone explain to me what to look for in lenses on the mm that you should have for lenses and how they work. Thanks!

I think I killed my little sony- the pictures will not transfer properly from the camera to pc anymore. I plan to buy another camera but I want one that is rugged and can handle bumps and bruises.

The camera I have is VERY small and light blue!
Why does the battery they gave me last for only 20 minutes?
Every time I take a picture it moves it down or up when angle it just right?
can I make a video without it being hooked up to the computer?

I see plenty of these on ebay but have yet to find an opinion. For the most part they seem to be "brand-free" although I do see "Digital Optics" in there too - no or few camera makers own product though.

I do know that, even with a Nikon Extender on Nikon equipment, there is always going to be a slight loss in image quality and maximum aperture. I can live with that.

What I would like to know are these generic optics rubbish, mediocre or okay? (I think at best they are going to be okay!). With respect to all photographers (since about everybody takes pictures these days one way or another), I invite answers from serious amateur or professional photographers who may offer me a clearer perspective.

Incidentally I am more interested in a Wide-Angle converter than the telephoto (although sometimes they come together).
