can i use my webcam to take photos of me?

I have a logitech web cam, but my digital cameras run out of battery and I need a new myspace picture. Can I use my webcam to take the pics?? help plz!!

You sure can! If you have anything before Windows XP, you need to use a program that can acquire an image from a TWAIN device. Windows came with a program called Imaging that can do it.

If you have XP, just go to your My Computer Icon and you should see your Webcam there and can use it to take a picture.

Absolutely. There should be a button to push in your software to snap photos and then save to your file.
