i want a digital camera where the picture quality is good..and can take pics in any type of lighting

Try to get a Canon or Sony. Samsung isn't very good. I would put them below Nikon, Panasonic, and possibly even Kodak.

I have a Sony Cyber Shot DSC-S500 I love it,I pain a bit more than 100 bucks for it but I think they are on sale right now for about $150 just about everywhere!

as you can see, among the top digicam from yahoo is canon A620. this is the latest information i received. i have sony cybershot and it is quite not good in terms of image quality. i plan to buy for my 13th month pay is canon A540 with digic processor. try buying cameras with higher level of digic processor. thanks

anything with 5.0 or more megapixels will be a good picture camera, get what you can afford and what looks nice to your taste. only you can decide that.
