I am planning to buy a digital camera. What's a good one? I realize that there are many seperate types, so what's a good one for taking long distance pictures? I also heard of a camera that can take "see through" pictures by a filtering process. I think it was a Sony Camcorder. Do digital cameras have this feature?

i dropped the camera but it seemed fine after that.
it looks like the cap has split, and i tried to push it to the side but it hasnt worked, now i cant even see the sides that close together.

I'm planning 2 buy a Canon A540. Will some 540 users tell me how is this camera? I read some reviews where it was claimed that 540 does awfully indoors as the flash is not powerful enough? Is it true? There is an option 4 xternal flash but I can't afford it.
Thanks in advance freinds.

I have a kodak dx6490 and a sandisk 2gb ultra II sd card. I tried to format it in the computer's card reader, and it says that it cannot be formatted. I tried to do it in the camera, but then I still cannot access it from the computer. I bought the card yesterday, so it's not because it's old. Help!

So you can put the camera down then step back and take a picture without holding it? I can't find anything about it in the manual. My camera's a Canon PowerShot A630 if that helps. Thanks!!

I bought a Kodak EasyShare C633 Camera on the day after Thanksgiving sales. It was just the camera, software, USB cable, and instruction manual, as it would seem that the Kodak EasyShare cameras no longer come with docks. This is an upgrade from an older Kodak EasyShare that came with a dock, and the dock was used to charge the camera. With my new C633, I am hoping that I can charge the camera by hooking it up to my computer via the included USB cable. Does anyone know if this is possible? (charging the camera via USB cable insted of using a EasyShare dock)
