I bought a Kodak EasyShare C633 Camera on the day after Thanksgiving sales. It was just the camera, software, USB cable, and instruction manual, as it would seem that the Kodak EasyShare cameras no longer come with docks. This is an upgrade from an older Kodak EasyShare that came with a dock, and the dock was used to charge the camera. With my new C633, I am hoping that I can charge the camera by hooking it up to my computer via the included USB cable. Does anyone know if this is possible? (charging the camera via USB cable insted of using a EasyShare dock)

Yes. Get yourself a set of AA recharable batteries and use a battery charger. Do NOT use regular AA batteries in a camera.

No, you can not charge the camera thru the USB cable. Kodak sells dock and rechargeble AA battery kits for use with their cameras. Try those.

Unless you purchase the kit that includes everything, you get only the camera. Charging docks are sold seperately. Without the dock you just have to replace the AA batteries.
