Are SLR and DSLR lenses interchangable? What's the difference anyway? Is it mainly due to the fact that most DSLRs have zooms?

Printing them myself sounds complicated.*intimidated* And because ink is so expense it could be more money than taking it some where.

Of course Wal-Mart is the cheapest but I'm not too sure about their quality. I believe my choices are Target, Savon, CVS, and Rite Aid. Or maybe I should just try to print them myself?

I CAN'T FIND ANY REVIEWS ON IT. I GOT IT PRETTY CHEAP AND I AM WORRIED THAT THERE MAY BE A REASON WHY WE GOT IT SO CHEAP. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I have a digital camera, but still enjoy taking pics with my 25 year old Canon AE-1 too.

What about you? Do you still use your 35 mm or are you completely digital?

I ordered a camera online and it says brand new on website.

this was cannon sd600..

i called to confirm my order and he says that the default battery life is only 15 mins and he can upgrade with additional $80 and he will give off $20.

i said no because my total limit is $275 and then he says - ok .. then he will do the adjustment to make it $275 and give discount of another $30 on batter...

i did not feel very comforable about that..what do u guys think

I recently took two pictures while my battery was low. The next day when i went to review the photos, the camera said the pics where unrecognized files. Is there any way to get my pictures back. I think they were lost somehow because the batteries were low?

What's a good slim/small/compact/sleek digital camera with zoom and a decent amount of megapixels?

2006-12-22 01:03:31 · 3 answers · asked by Anonymous

My DSLR camera, which I have had now for over half a year, has always had trouble with noise (fuzziness and blemishing) of the photos that it takes. Even if the ISO is set to a low setting, and the picture is composed correctly, etc, there is still noise present in the photo itself when the image is zoomed 2x or more. The camera has 9m pixels, and Im thinking to myself; should this really be the quality of such a powerful camera.
Images appear in this way in both Tele and Wide shots, with optical zoom. Its such as shame- its a great camera, but I don't want my prints to appear with a 'painted' effect when it comes to printing.

I am looking to purchase a digital camera, but not one on the highest price end of the market. I want one that is easy to use (for those people you hand the camera to to take a pic of you and a friend) and creates results you are happy with. Does anyone want to rave about theirs? Tell me why you love it!
Please offer the name of the model, make, and estimated price. Thanks!

Hello, I would liek to ask all you camera experts out there if this is a good first real decent camera for me. The G7 has a ton of features that i would really like but I truly dont know much about these camera. I want to make a good purchase and buy a camera that will last me a long time... the quality seems very good but i have read a few articles that would suggest not to purchase it. I love how it resembles the old canons like the A-1 and the 10 mp will be awesome for big prints. anyways.. if you all could give me a heads up as to if this is a good purchase or not that would be great.
