Printing them myself sounds complicated.*intimidated* And because ink is so expense it could be more money than taking it some where.

Of course Wal-Mart is the cheapest but I'm not too sure about their quality. I believe my choices are Target, Savon, CVS, and Rite Aid. Or maybe I should just try to print them myself?

If you are going to print a lot of photos get a good photo printer and do it your self. Otherwise either Target or Walmart

I personally like printing my own pictures with my printer. Most printers over $80 will give you a print that looks as good as what you would get if you took your memory card to a place like Wal-Mart. Pictures do take a lot of ink to print, especially if you are printing big ones. Cheaper printers can also be slow. Most cameras come with editing software that allows you to print your pictures. If I were you I would experiment. Just try to print one of your photos at a friends house. You don't have to have a photographic printer, one of the $80 or so, printers at Wal-Mart should have the resolution that you need for photos. It's also good to buy photographic glossy paper. You don't have to buy the most expensive paper either. Cheap glossy photo paper looks just as good in most cases. It is a bit more expensive to print from home but I personally prefer it.

Personally, I enjoy doing it myself, for quite a few reasons. 1) It's done the way I want it, and 2) I learn something new. If you're interested in printing your own photos, http://www.microsoft.com/athome/morefun/photoprinting.mspx is a Microsoft tutorial specifically targeted for Windows XP. Although, some of the information--specifically paper, ink, and some of the printer advice--will come in handy for other operating systems.

If you still want to outsource your printing, I definatly do not recommend Walmart. They're service is crappy, for lack of a better word. Sure the machines are made by Kodak, but it still has that "Walmart quality" which is, more or less, no quality. But that's coming from a guy who stepped into Walmart maybe twice in his life.

Really, I don't recommend many of the supermarket-type stores, I'd go for companies that specialize in printing digital photographs. Because my schedule is completely booked--and the fact I'm lazy--I use some online services when I'm either out of ink or want something more than a photo (e.g., mug or mousepad).

Shutterfly is my most recommended website for printing photos. It's rather simple: upload your photos via their user-friendly system, order prints, and wait for them to come in. Yep, it's really that simple. [http://www.shutterfly.com/]

Good luck!

CVS or Walgreens, there about 29 cents a print. They use very
exspensive equipment, the pictures just about always turn out
perfect, unless your camera screwed up.

Well, our walmart here has 3 different koisks...the 1 hour one is "OK", but the overnight and 4 hour ones do an excellent job... most people think I had my pics professionally taken. And for the price...very reasonable...its a very good deal, and excellent sharpness, color accuracy, etc.

Another website to try is www.snapfish.com 4x6 are around $0.12/each which is pretty cheap. 8x10s are around $3.

You upload your photos and order whatever size you want. Also a great way to share photos with friends and relatives. You can share a link to albums and they can view all of your photos.
