hi bought a XD PICTURE CARD for my olympus C - 150 CAMERA but i do not know how to format the card or camera any help will be appreciated thanks

Hi i have a OLYMPUS C- 150 DIGITAL CAMERA i bought an olympus x d picture card but i cant format it .when i place the card into the camera and switch on i have 2 choices POWER OFF and FORMAT when i select format it asks me yes or no i select no and it takes me back to the first question but when i select yes it comes up card error any help please

Go to MENU and click on format option then press yes...

turn the camera on with the xD inside and go menu-format-yes

If this is a 'new' card from Ebay, there are loads of fakes on the circuit, there is a posting on Ebays home page about them. Otherwise it may simply be a faulty one, have you used it before??
