Too vauge? Okay, so here's the deal. I spilled Diet Coke into my purse, because I'm a total moron! It wasn't much, maybe a couple tablespoons at the most. The thing is some of it hit my Olympus digital camera! I know, oops! I took the batteries out, the let it dry, but it still won't come on this morning. I opened up the little hatch for the Xd card and took that out, hoping to dry it out. What should I do? Please don't tell me that I've ruined my camera! It was expensive and I can't afford another one! Any ideas? I would be MOST grateful! Thanks in advance, I appreciate your help!

You're not an idiot, just maybe a little clumsy. I'd give your camera another day just to be sure, and wipe down the camera and batteries with a slightly damp cloth. Maybe use a couple of q-tips to wipe off the battery connections. You might try to borrow another Xd card, and see if maybe it's just the card that's gone bad. Nothing wrong with trying a set of fresh batteries too. Just be VERY careful when you do all this. If none of this works, sorry to say either send it in to get it fixed, or start saving for a new one.. They do make models that are waterproof too ;)
