I just got a PS3 and Madden 2008. I played it for about an hour and was severly dissapointed. I recently sold my PS2 copy thinking the PS3 version would be superior. Boy, was I wrong. I think this may be the worst Madden game I have ever played. Why are the games getting more and more complicated? The programmers are adding so many bells and whistles thinking the game will be better for it when in reality, it totally makes the game crappy and not very fun. The frame rate is awful and very choppy, making playing defense nearly impossible. Does anyone else feel that the PS2 version was/is soooo much better? I think I'm going to sell my PS3 copy of this game and go back to the PS2 version. I am new to the PS3 and really hope that other games in general will not be so poorly designed. I am eagerly awaiting Assassin's Creed. Please don't dissapoint me too.

I've heard that not all PS 2 games work on the 80Gb PS 3, it is missing some hardware that the 60GB system has, which prevents some PS 2 games to be played. Approximately, what percentage of PS 2 games work on 80Gb PS 3? And is there a list of PS 2 games that have been confirmed to work on PS 3 80Gb model?

I was under the impression that the game came out for or was coming out for PS2. This may have been several years ago. I've been out of touch with videogames for several years so I'm not up to date with what's new or what's been released. I just have a PS2 and I haven't purchased any new games in several years or played much. This game just piqued my interest.

I just want to throw this in to freak everyone else out.

ISO is NOT an adjustment to the sensitivity of the sensor. A sensor can either detect photons or not. It can not vary the sensitivity to those photons.

ISO in a digital camera refers to the gain applied to the signal sent from the sensor to the processor. Think of the ISO adjustment as an analogy to a volume knob on an amplifier. Adujsting the ISO upwards boosts the signal sent from the sensor to the processor. More signal ("louder" signal, if you will) leads to digital noise as some of the signal from one individual diode jumps over to an neighbor, creating noise. Think of it as being analogous to distortion as an amplifer runs out of headroom and eventually starts to clip the signal because it can't handle it. There's your "hot" or blown pixel in high ISO settings.

I want to start using this as part of my answer when someone asks for a definition of ISO in a digital camera. What do you think of that???

Id like to sit on my recliner and surf the internet with a PS3. But can I do pictures and download on a PS3 instead of a computer? Im getting tired of sitting up in a little chair online. A PS3 would be quite a change and besides I need a DVD player anyway so all in one huh a good idea?

Is it true that Sound Surround System need Sound Surround DVD to play and sound on all the speakers?
I have a 5.1 Sound Surround System but when I play normal DVD I only hear sounds from 3 speakers. Other DVD only play sound on 2 speakers.
