Check on ebay or your local craigslist. Canon offered two macro lenses for film cameras, a 50mm and a 100mm.

I use a 100mm macro lens because it allows a better "working distance" from bees and butterflys.

I just did an ebay search and found several Genuine Canon macro lenses.

Ignore all the zoom lenses with the word "macro" attached. They should be labeled "close focusing" since they usually offer only a 1:4 (1/4 life size) reproduction ratio while a true macro lens is 1/2 (1:2) life size or life size (1:1).
