i recently bought a nokia 6300 that (i now know) has been stolen, and locked by the manufacturer. Not locked to a network.

PS3- i bought mad PS2 games and if i buy 360 then the games will be for waste

360- Has mad extra things like music and stuff and theres more games for it

Ok - I've owned 2 MP3 players before now; the first a crappy 512MB and the second a 1GB Q-B. I've decided I want more space (a LOT more space!) so I'm looking at a couple of the bigger players, mainly the ipod (80GB classic).

Could someone please explain to me how it works?
- As of the moment most of my music is on CD - I assume I'll be able to listen to these still?
- As for the few songs I have downloaded (not through itunes) - will I be able to play these? Some music has been downloaded directly through the musician's website (e.g. Radiohead) so will this be rendered unplayable too?
- And also, movies/videos that I own on DVD.. would I be able to rip these onto my PC and then put these on an ipod? Or can it just take video downloaded from itunes?

Sorry these questions are so basic - I've been reading reviews on Amazon and it's raised a lot of questions!

The games are for my husband , he is 23 ...can someone recommend a few games.

Ok- I already know that ps3 looks alot better in HD- thats not what i'm asking. I'm asking if the ps3 looks good with a standard-definition tv or is it just not worth it?

It doesn't make any sense at all. I can not believe they are doing this. With all the problems this world is facing they decide to change tv's. It's all so suspicious. Why would senate all of a sudden show interest in digital televisions?

I accidently dropped my camera while the lens was open and now the camera wont turn on. when it temporarily does its a black screen that says "lens error,restart camera" the lens seems to be jammed it wont go in or out. What should I do to fix this or to "restart my camera"

Come on! 360, Wii and PS3 fanboys have totally blown the fact you buy a console for fun. I bought my xbox 360 so I could enjoy xbox live and play games like Gears of war and Bioshock. Not to be yelled at by PS3 fanboys saying stuff like "paying for online gaming!" And Wii fans saying " you get fat! "
Honestly? Do these people have nothing better to do than go on Y!A and Internet forums yelling their console? And making videos on youtube?

People of Y!A, I ask you a question:
Do you want the world to turn into a place where which console is the best? Rather than stopping global warming? Do you want your children wasting away their days making dumb fanboy videos and yelling trash on the internet? I would like to find a 5.1 system for around 150$. Any ideas, or suggestions as to a really good one? I dont care too much about brand name as much as i do bang for my buck. i want watts to price ratio i guess is what im saying. thanks

My entire system is inside a cabinet built into the wall. I have two options for the powered subwoofer - (1) to place it on the floor outside the cabinet. This requires a wire to be drawn out from the cabinet and doesn't look good. (2) to place it on top of the cabinet against the wall. This looks far better, but does it compromise the bass since it is coming from the top rather than from the floor?

Im thinking of getting a ps3 or an 360 for xmas. Ive been put off for the reasons that ive read about the xbox 360 s ring of fire. does anyone have a 360 ? should i avoid getting one? ive also been told that the ps3 games are on widescreen and i will need a widescreen tv, is this true? i dont have a widescreen tv, i just a standard television which is not hd, ive also read it wont work on a normal standard televison (like with the big back) , is this true? do i need to get a new hd widescreen televsion or can i use the one i have now? what about the xbox as far as that concern goes ? id appreciate a reply from anyone who has either and who is using a standand television . Also using a standard televison will the graphics still be good? obviusly thed prob be better on a hd one but wil they be bad on normal tv?

I am OK at repairing most minor electronic items, so if this likely to be say the line output transistor, I can replace it. However I seem to remember that a line output tranny failing gives a horizontal line, not a vertical one !! The sound works fine by the way - Any thought folks... Oh yes and I know about EHT and how to safely discharge the tube with a bleed resistor.

1. What dose 1000 Lumens mean? dose this mean 1000 hours on a lamps life?

2. Is there a differents between a DLP TV and a Home Theater Projector lasting longer then the other.

3. Which device is better to have....let me rephrase this question, which one of the products would have less technical problems?

4. When a DLP TV's lamp life goes out isn't the same replacement a person would have to make for a Home Theatre Projector?

I recently picked up an onkyo 304 with 5.1 channels. My new hd-dvd can output 7.1 via hdmi or 5.1 via optical..

Is it worth it to upgrade a new receiver to get those two additoinal channels or not so much?

I am coming form just a 2 channel and the 5.1 is simply amazing to me.
