I know it's hdmi 1.2a... but do I need 22AWG? 26WAG? 24WAG? or 22WAG?

I'm looking at HDMI to DVI cables at monoprices.com.

This is the one I think I need:

The one you chose should work fine ... it's for a short distance. However, larger guage would be recommended for longer runs (like from an HD-A2 to a ceiling mounted projector) That said, for the price difference I'd buy the 24 or 26 awg.

I agree with agb90. Short runs (under 15 ft) you can go with thinner wires. And the thinner wires are easier to bend/manage behind the rack.

Buy the cheapest you can find unless you're going for very long runs or runs that cross significant power sources that could give you interference.
