Did the game "Black & White" come out for PS2? Why can't I find this? Was the release canceled?

I was under the impression that the game came out for or was coming out for PS2. This may have been several years ago. I've been out of touch with videogames for several years so I'm not up to date with what's new or what's been released. I just have a PS2 and I haven't purchased any new games in several years or played much. This game just piqued my interest.
So is it out for PS2? Did the release get canceled or something?

So I'm assuming that's a "no" on that game. Bummer. That sucks.
Have there been any more recent plans to release it for PS2?
