When you compare the games that are going to come out this holiday season for the 360 and the PS3, the Xbox wins handsdown. The Xbox also has many QUALITY exclusives, including Halo 3, Fable 2, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Ninja Gaiden 2, Gears of War, Too Human, etc. plus all the great multiplatform games. Also, multiplatform games come out sooner for the 360 than the PS3 (Oblivion, GRAW, Rainbow 6, Stranglehold, etc.) Sure the 360 might be less "powerful" than the PS3 but at least is better in gaming than the PS3.

The PS3 may be more powerful with it's blu-ray player and all but the Xbox has far superior games. All you have to know is Halo 3, Bioshock, Gears of War and soon Mass Effect are offered only on the 360 and Playstation's greatest games (Grand Theft Auto series) which used to be a Playstation exclusive is also going to be on 360. 360 is decent but if you got the $$$ , PS3 blows it out of the water.
Its not even close. There are a ton of games out now and the PS3 exclusive games are some of the most amazing games you'll set your eyes on.
I went in being a sceptic and came out blow away. PS3 is worth every penny and definately the best console.

Hands down PS3, so many good games are coming, online for the games is getting better and better, and 360 is still dieing on its customers. I just got an 80gb PS3, and I did SO much research went back and forth but I mean, PS3 is set for the future, while 360 has peaked. I recommend you do a lot of research b4 you buy but I highly recommend PS3.
