Just to be clear on this being a 'Bush' tv.
Bush used to be a british manufaturer that went bust many many years ago.
The name was then sold onto an importer that goes to many manufacturing companies all over thr world, some completely unconnected to have goods made for them with the 'bush' brand name.
They do have a small manufacturing capacity but most of it is parts bought in of a few sections assembled by them.
The problem then lies in the range of quality and reliability can be massive, a tv and matching DVD player could be made in two completely different companies and even on different sides of the planet.
Some people on here may say they bought xyz and it was brilliant, or poor, or complete rubbish but that has no bearing on what your looking at, even if it was the next model up/down.
Generally speaking, Bush equipment (taking into account all the above) is budget equipment of a standard sort of design, they don't do anything cutting edge and infact, you could find exactly the same tv with another brand name on it.
My advice? Expect reasonable picture quality, reasonable sound but expect it to be pretty cheap, don't go paying higher or even middle range sort of money for it.
Your problem will come when it breaks down (which your at higher risk with than say a Sony TV) in that there will be no manufacturer as such to go to for parts, a lost remote control, etc.
This is disposable equipment, you by it cheap and when it goes wrong you throw it away and buy another one.

If you are looking for an LCD HDTV go to these sites:-
www.misco.co.uk
www.unbeatable.co.uk
Prices are much better than Argos.
We had the Bush one, which I sold, and now have a Phillips 37" one and an LG 26" one, both have better pictures than the Bush.
Hope this helps and have a nice day. ;)

What Hi-Fi magazine gave it two stars saying, 'Pointlessly large and hopelessly outclassed'.
Forget it.
