I have a Becker Traffic Navigation GPS but I dont like the software. Is it possible for example to put TOM TOM maps on the SD-card and would this work?

I have only just realised that I have only stored everyones telephone numbers in my mobile phone, if for some reason it breaks or gets stolen, I wouldn't know any of them.
I should keep a copy somewhere else, just in case.

Between the LCD and the Plasma which gets a better picture while viewing on an angle?There seems to be a bigger selection of LCD's is that the direction the industry is going.Which T.V. works better with a DVR? So I am finally ready to get rid of the piece of junk camera that I have and get something nice. I have a Treo cell phone, so touch screen is really my thing now. For that reason, I am thinking about the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N2, that has touch screen capability. Additionally, I am thinking about the Cyber-shot DSC-T100/R. Also, if Megapixels matter (do they???) then maybe the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W200 (12 megapixels). But my bubble was burst when some guy was like "what's with all these Sony choices? Canon is the best." The only thing is that the Canon's that I have seen only go up to 7.1 (yes/no??).

So the main problem that I have with my camera is red-eye (NOTHING gets rid of it), and sometimes it won't take a picture because its "charging the flash." So the 2 most important things to me are being able to COMPLETELY prevent red-eye and being able to just snap away w/out having to wait. I'm going to Europe so missing something great b/c of my stupid camera will NOT work! :-)

I'm using my Canon PowerShot S3IS to record videos. It records great video and stereo audio (if sound is at moderate levels). The audio tends to distort if it becomes too loud, especially the bass parts.

What can I do to remedy the situation? I heard that I could cover the built-in microphones partially in those situations, but I do not know how to do it.

you know now most of the films come in 5.1 audio.but a good 5.1 channel speaker costs much. is there any way to make 5.1 channel speaker by myself so that it costs low. any serious electronics engg or tech buddies help me ................

In the past, I've been able to pick up HD over my regular "rabbit ear" antennae. Now I'm searching for a new antennae and noticed that some are being marketed as an "HD" antennae.

Is there a difference or is it just a marketing scheme???

I am looking for a set of speakers that are loud enough 4 house parties and that will also charge your ipod...however, it would be nice to be able to take them away camping with my mates in the summer... but this means they would need to be battery powered...is it possible to get a set of sepakers that are both mains powered and battery powered... without it being very weak Thanks for any suggestions sue

have windows xp. I used to watch dvds but now I get an error message to change screen resolution and or color. The dvd still dosent play dispite changing settings. I am able to play usic cds so the cd rom seems to be ok. I am not that good with computers so can someone help me please
