Can you use different maps on a GPS system? Or are you stuck with the one provided on the CD?

I have a Becker Traffic Navigation GPS but I dont like the software. Is it possible for example to put TOM TOM maps on the SD-card and would this work?

not usually. this is how they make money.

I don't know any who will upload any maps.
