You may have a problem. Often companies (for example phillips) make a tv chassis which is sold to other companies who put it in their own cabinet and put their own name!
Ask at your local main library if they keep copies of television magazine or Television servicing and they should have a television index file which will give you a list of generic/brand names.

One thing u can do is to get the FCC ID numbers from the label and look them up at
