Apple has worked hard to prevent this. This isn't to say that someone won't figure out a way.

You can use an iPhone without any of the phone features, however. This means it's basically an expensive iPod.

If you're a T-Mobile customer and REALLY want an iPhone, consider if it's worth it to you to switch. If you're paying all that for the phone, it might be worth it to you to pay the $200 early termination fee and just switch.

Keep in mind that even if there is a hack to make it work with T-Mobile, it'll be a phone. Some of the data features may still not work.

At that point, you might as well have an iPod and a separate phone.

It's not unlocked for another carrier yet. However, they have hacked it so you can use another AT&T SIM card with it (which you can't do without the hack).

This makes me think a T-Mobile hack is coming
