I'm starting to take photography as a serious hobby.
& am thinking of getting a new camera.

Would you recommend a camera with a rechargable battery or one with AA batteries?

I was on ebay and I found a ton of listings for mp3 players that look almost identical to ipods, but theyre not. theyre knock offs. They claim to work just as well if not better than an ipod, but of course theyre not going to say if theyre junk. Has anyone ever bought a generic ipod? if so, how was it?

Both seems to reduce blurring. What is the difference?
I am looking into Digital Ixus 70 and 850 IS/SD800/ Specs wise they are very close, weight Ixus 70 is the slimmest from Canon. Price wise 850 IS is $160 odd more. Also looking at the Powershot A570 IS, but this seems bulky althou its much cheaper but uses AA batteries. This seems convenient to get but its power seems to be average... meaning I either need recahrgeables or need spares.

When my computer speakers are on they make a popping sound, when i'm not listening to anything and when i am listening to stuff...its really annoying and loud....i had this problem with a different pair of speakers awhile back then switched to these and have had them for a few months now..whats wrong with them? and when i plug headphones in the headphones pop

before cable and dish television,, we used rabbit ears to pick up reception. would that still work today if you only wanted to pick up the network channels?

My husband doesn't want to spend $160.00 to rent a sound system for a backyard party. He said we could buy a pretty good boombox for $160. The thing is, I'm not sure the sound is going to carry that well with a boombox. Is there something out there that would work for a backyard that doesn't cost more than $160 or thereabouts. My husband doesn't want to just throw the money away (that's what he thinks renting is). But I don't want the music to make people go deaf within 3 feet of the music source and yet people on the outskirts won't be able to hear a thing.

Does anyone know of any MP3 players that are under 60 dollars and can hold a reasonably good amount of songs. I dont have much money to spend on one, and im having trouble finding some. So if anyone has any information on one, including how many songs it can hold, etc. I would GREATLY appreciate it.
(And it doesnt really matter if its more of a childish MP3 player. Any MP3 player is okay with me)

I want to get the best 37" LCD TV I can get! :)
I am gonna get a new TV as soon as the one I have dies, which won't be too long, I don't think. I have a 15 year old Sony 32" CRT, which weighs 200 pounds, and which I got for a whopping $1700 because it was a closeout - last year's model. The new ones were $2400!!! This was back in 1991. :O ( I bought it because Mary-Kate and Ashley were toddlers, and were so cute, I wanted to see their cute little faces bigger! The set I had before that was a 19".)

Anyway, on to the question: I am thinkin of a 37" LCD set. I will use it mainly for watchin DVDs, but I would also like to use it as a computer monitor. Is that a good idea?

I want to get the best one there is. What do you recommend?
And what brands do you recommend?

I have files on my computer that i want to burn to a dvd. Now i burned them to a dvd, and i can only watch it on my computer, when i put it into a dvd player it doesnt work, WHY?

ok my gf and me have been talkin bout private stuff only between her and me and her neighbor has a cop scanner or somethin and she told me that her neighbor listens to everyones conversations and that is starting to scare me does anyone have an idea of how or what i can do bout it like buy a filter for the phone lines and she also told me that the neighbor can even here her cell phone calls between us what can i do i eed help quick and i cant tell the cops..........plz dont ask dont tell, and the phones we used tonight are both home phones and i think hers is either cordless or corded she said she has a lan line and the neighbor can hear her when she calls me on her cell and i use my good old corded phone what can we do to stop this cause when we were talkin around 7 tonight the next door neighbor and my gf and the neighbor live in apartments right next door or down the hall came and nocked on her door and started talkin to the mom what can i do i need some help bad

I have an in focus projector. during the start up screen, which typically has shades of blue, the correct color is displayed. But when I connect my laptop and display the screen through the projector, all the colors have a green tint to them. I've tried adjusting the color settings, but nothing helps. Is this a cable issue? or a bulb issue?
