I have a 47 inch Samsung rear projection wide screen. I have red lines running through the top of the screen in the shape of a smile (no other way to explain it) and some of the images are double in red. The tv is about 5 years old. What could be wrong, what is your estimate of cost for repairs, or is it worth fixing at all?

what am I looking for?
I want one that prefferably has a sd card, can take long video with audio, has high quality images, doesnt cost an arm and a leg and is a good brand (mum always complains if I get off brand stuff)

Im looking into getting a bigger and better TV but theres so many out there that Im clueless. There's so many out there but whats the best for the buck: DLPs, LCDs, Plasmas, Projection TVs, Regular tube?? Please, Im lookin for pretty much anything bigger than what I have now which is a 32" .......and thats HD too. What in your opinion is the best for the buck?

PS: I tend to get alot of SONY products (my 20" TV, PS3, radio, etc) cause in my opinion SONY is the best brand for electronics so anything thats a good deal and good quality brand too??

Do you use for your digital camera? I have a Canon A540 and I buy the Panasonic ones, but they die so fast. Like today, I just put a new pair in and I took one picture and the camera shut off and stated on the screen to change the batteries. I had just put them in. Now is it because that brand of batteries is no good, or is something wrong with my camera for it to shut off right after I took one pic and had just put them in?

Plz suggest a brand of batteries to use.

Once a telephone technician came to fix my phone (in New York) and he told me that there is a number (free) that I can dial from any telephone, which connects me to an automatic service, which tells me (in an automated voice) which is the phone number I am calling from . I forgot what this number was (something like 711 ). I am now in New Orleans and need to find the phone number in the office that I am working. Does anyone know if there is such a phone number/service in this area? I think the phone is serviced by Bell South, now taken over by AT&T. The area code is 504 and the first 3 digits are 349. This is a direct phone, not an extention (yet it is within a company, so I need to dial 9 before I can dial out, even to a local numbers).
