I want a new phone and my old digital camera broke, so i'm thinking of getting a good camera and phone in one.
I'm wanting to take some pictures when i'm away, and i'm wondering if 2.0 megapixels are good enough for clear photos?

As far as cameras go 2 mp is bottom line now. In a phone its pretty good, the highest you will readily find affordable is 3.2 in a phone. There are some 5mp camera phones around but not too many and very expensive. One thing you will find is a camera phone lacks performance. I have an LG env and it takes a decent pic but its quite slow, the pics are more suited to your computer than printing, it works in a pinch since I have it with me pretty much all the time. I wouldn't forgo a camera phone but if you really want to capture memories of a vacation or something like that buy a real camera, look for 4 mp and higher, 4 to 6 should be fine for casual shooting and be reasonably priced.

You can't have your cake and eat it. You won't get a real good photo on just 2 MP. 2 MP is OK and that's as far as I'll go. It really depends how fussy you are. For a camera by itself 2 MP is not really that good. But for camera phone they're just OK...they now have some with 3 megapixels.
I don't know what camera phones run anymore, but you might be better off with a cheap camera without phone.

Most camera phones currently have 1.3Mpx, so a 2Mpx camera is very good.
I believe that Samsung has a 3Mpxl camera out. Nokia has a 5Mpxl camera phone but it does NOT function on the US 3G networks nor does it function well on most US networks.

For a phone, it is good. You can make a decent 3X5 photo out of it. But a decent digital camera by itself will have at least 5 mexa-pixels, if not more.

You'd be surprised how big a 2mp photograph could be enlarged to. If the phone is a good make and has a flash, it should be fine.

not really, it is OK but your color will be off, you wont be able to print bigger than 4 x5 without pixels showing and you won't have the kind of control (zoom etc.) that you would have in a dedicated digital camera.
