how bad is the language in f.e.a.r.?

Not too bad, but some of the sights are pretty scary for children. It has a strong ability to cause nightmares.

The language is fairly bad. Occasional F-words, but other than that, it is a great game and I would recommend it if you can ignore the swearing.

Realistic..I'll just leave it at that....it's no GTA, though...
