I got one yesterday and i tried to access the website that was in the text and it was no good. What will happen with my contract with ampd mobile?

Amp'd is potentially suspending US operations on July 31st.
you do need to pay any outstanding bill, but other than that you are free to port your number elsewhere. your contract ends when they stop offering service.

Yes, they are bankrupt. You need to file a claim .. and find a new cell phone provider ASAP!!!
