When my computer speakers are on they make a popping sound, when i'm not listening to anything and when i am listening to stuff...its really annoying and loud....i had this problem with a different pair of speakers awhile back then switched to these and have had them for a few months now..whats wrong with them? and when i plug headphones in the headphones pop

There good speakers, i dunno what brand they say "CA" on them, they have a sub with them too, i don't think its a connections thing...i just pushed the plug in as much as it would go....think it could be a heat thing? they've been on for a long time...

Sounds like the connection port is messed up.

i assume u r talking the complete speker system, that is, technically amplispeakers which contains both amplifier as well as speakers, Becaue speakers alone seldom go bad in this way unless the system is switched on keeping the volume high .

now, coming to the point, disconnect the amplispeaker system from PC, and plugin to specified mains.... turn volume high... if u still listen that popping sound it is clear that the amplifier is faulty... normally, the poweramplifier or the power supply itself, this is a small problem... contact any service person...

There probably cheap. Buy the "Logitech X-230 2.1 Speaker System" its amazing for the price. You can find it for $30-50 i have them and if you get them you will have no regrets and it would fix your popping.

My laptop speakers do the same. I think one of them are busted.
