3months agao I worte all my pdf data on DVDs (Made in China)
but now while try to copy them back to my hard drive, windows cannot copy and gives me error message.
I tried Nero Copy option too but same error.
please tell me how to solve this problem?

When I install re-install 98SE on a clean HD , it does not load the Dynamic Link Library files. There are so many missing that I cannot download them all from a DLL download sites. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I'm using the magnetic lasso to cut the background out of clip art. I want to use that image in a Powerpoint presentation however whenever I save it as a JPEG and pull it up it has the background again.

the folder i need to get to with command line (Windows) is "unit 1 something". I can't type 'cd unit~1' or anything similar, nor can I rename the directory or use GUI for this job. Any suggestions? Please, only real suggestions.

Hello I have this problem I have an 8x DVD - R Disc which has some important concert footage on it my problem is this, I can play this disc no problem in my dvd player. But when I attempt to copy it using Nero burning Rom or similat programmes it shows as disc being empty?, when infact it has 2 gbs of footage on the disc?, Can anyone suggest a program which reads these discs or a variety of disc if it helps the disc is recorded using the NTSC standard and it is non copyrighted material before anyone asks with no encryption present!.

Basically im after a program which can extra information from discs which others seem to miss?

I tried searching for *.xls files but couldnt find the file. When I open the file again it is the original file but with say (2) at the end, where can I find the original file? I checked the autorecover folder there is only blank binary files.

No matter what software I download, run or save I get c:/documents and settings/Hubert/my documents/name of file.exe is not a valid win32 application.

For example I downloaded software direct from Microsoft like IE7 for a test as I already have the program installed, and when the program attempts to install, I get the above, IE7 file.exe is not a valid win32 application. The name of any file I try to install is shown and will not install, "says not a valid win32 application.

I am running Windows XP Home. I have no viruses and never had one, or any spyware. So please don't tell me I have a virus.

Safe mode, last good restart point, reboot from last good start point, fails to resolve the problem.

Please does anybody have any ideas how to resolve this problem.

All of my installed programs works fine, including automatic updates from microsoft and all other security. Computer runs fine, just unable to install anything.

I'm trying to upgrade my flash plugin to version 10, but I keep getting errors. When I try to uninstall version 9 through Add/Remove programs it doesn't do anything. Can anyone help?

Ok, so I am using Windows Movie Maker for Vista. I downloaded a Codec to watch the .avi videos in Media Player first. I edited and made a music video in Movie Maker. But then when I tried to publish it, the bottom half of the video was green. I read on here that it was because I installed a crappy Codec. I uninstalled it and installed FFDshow because someone said it was a good one to use. The video still plays in Movie Maker, but now it just publishes a black screen. Is this still a Codec problem? If so, what Codec can I install that will actually publish my video correctly?

Where do i find the program needed to reinstall my speakers?
I accidently deleted the installation program for MLi 699 speakers for my computer. I was trying to clean out the trojan worthy mess of half installed crap my sister filled my computer with, and ended up deleting the program that installed my speakers. Where do I find the program online? Theres no known 'brand' other than MLi.

Additional Details

Ok, Ive found that the problem is in the sound driver, however, in order to reinstall the hardware, I need a cd. I no longer have that cd. What do I do?

In Office 2007 (office) could you have the toolbars & menus displayed the way it was in previous version.

Same thing for Window Vista - is there a way to have the menus shown like XP?

I just bought the retail version of office 2007 home & student but there was no cd inside, just the papers and the key code! can i still download the software and use the key code that way? because if i try to bring it back and say the cd was mising YEAH im sure they will believe that!

ok, my AIM 6 has been working just fine for the longest time
then all of a sudden today it returned to an old problem it had months ago (that just randomly went away b4) where it would log me in but then this thing titled "Microsoft Development Environment" poped up & said something about "debuging"
when i try & close this thing it automatically shuts down my AIM.

wtf?
=[ this really sux & it was perfectly fine a few days ago!
please help me out.
