How do I clear old Margins and set new ones in a Microsoft Word document?

Go to file-> page setup. You should be able to change all margins there.

They finally made this easy in Word 2007. With previous versions it can be a pain. Unfortunately, I don't have any machines with previous versions and I don't remember how you get back to the sheet with the margins across the top and down the side.

Once you lost that format, it was hard to find it again.......I do remember that!

read the help files... that's what they are for.. do a search in help "Margins" with out the " "

File and page setup look around and figure it out. =)
