I'm running a OS X on a powerbook G4, and want a really good (and FREE) IRC client... one with DCC support. i already have AkwaIRC, but it doesn't have locked scrolling, and anytime anything is input into the channel, it jumps down to the very bottom of the page. veeeeerrry annoying if you're trying to copy & paste triggers. >___>

So... does anybody know of a really, really good FREE client for IRC with DCC support, that has locked scrolling? ^^

OH!! But... besides the following:

Snak
Ircle
Babbel
ChatNet
MacIRC
ShadowIRC

Somehow or other, those clients didn't work out... (Snak was okay, but of course after the trial period, it cuts out after a while *sighs*)

Windows makes machines slow, prone to viruses and attacks, forces you to update all the time.

If in the past, with Windows 2000, NT, 98, 95 you got the "Blue Screen Of Death", in XP you get the "Not Responding" message of death a lot, plus when you try to close the "Not Responding" windows, it does not want to close, when an annoying dialog box pops up asking if you want to close and you click yes, it still does not close.

When you go at task manager to kill the process, a new icon appears in the system tray, showing that a new process is trying to kill the "Not Responding" process, however this does not work.

Sometimes, you have to reboot the computer just to get rid of a "Not Responding" program.

I HATE, HATE HATE Microsoft, because their products is just KRAP and BULLSCHIT !!!!

Should I migrate to LINUX and say goodbye to MICROSHIT ???

I want an OS that WORKS, DANMN IT !!!

My computer has been messed up for about a week now. Certain websites won't let me do things, and I can't download flash player or JAVA. For instance, I can't delete my e-mail messages, and every program I want to use, I have to open as Administrator.

i.e. MySpace won't let me post bulletins or comments, or delete them, FaceBook does the same. I can't get into my school e-mail account. Webpages don't load correctly, or load at all. It's telling me that I need to have Flash or JAVA but when I go to the website, it won't let me download the programs. McAfee isn't working correctly either.

Should I just take it back to where I got it? I'm not sure if the warranty I got covers this kind of problems.
If you have any idea as to what could be causing this, that'd be great.

Oh, we also ran a virus scan and there were no known viruses, unless it just didn't pick it up...

Does anyone have any idea as to what could cause this? Thanks.

Like whenever you hit black and white, it makes the whole picture black and white. I'd like to make on red (&And put 'Red Lights Indicate Doors are Secure . . .y'know that Arctic Monkeys song?)
I know it has something to do with saturation, but nothings working.

THIS IS JUST REGULAR SOFTWARE AND I WOULD LIKE TO PUT IT ON A CD. I TRIED DRAGGING AND DROPPING IT IN THE BURN LIST OF WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. THEN I DID THE SAME THING, BUT CHECKED THE "DATA CD" ICON NOTHING STILL HAPPEN.

Say I have an ISO image that I would like to burn onto a cd. Must I first extract the information from the image using a program like WinRar? If not, then how do I successfully burn an ISO image to when I put the cd into my computer it runs and autoplays like a normal cd would. WEBSITES WITH HELPFUL INFO WOULD BE NICE

Recently my computer started doing something strange. When a program locks up, and I have to end it... I can never get that program to work properly again. It happened to windows live messenger. Every time i run it, it shows up in my processes menu, but never comes up. More recently, it happened to my recording software, Ableton Live. It only shows up in my processes menu, but never comes up, and I can't even end the process. It does this after countless restarts and reinstallations. Any clues? help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
