this is the problem if there is anyway i can fix it without restore, plz help.

I had downloaded space cowboy online by GPotato and didn't like it, I went to uninstall but add/remove programs couldn't do it, so i went to manually uninstall the game, i clicked uninstall in the game''s profile in the start menu. It said windows cannot locate setup.exe, manually locate by browse. Stupidally enough under manually locating i want to the game's program file and clicked on the thing that said uninstall. This turned out to be the icon for uninstall not the program to uninstall. Now whenever i click on uninstall in the start menu it shows me the icon instead. This game is taking up over 2 gigs and i really wanna delete it, know any tips?

also, the setup file windows was asking me to look for, i can't find it either. It should be noted that after downloading the game's .exe file, i installled the game and deleted the .exe file i used to load it.

I've recently thought about installing this on my brothers laptop because Vista takes up too much of his memory. My question(s) are How easy is it to use? How easy is it to setup? And do I have to un-install Vista to use it? And how compatible is it with other programs, most being video games? Thanks!

I've changed the time on Windows 6 minutes ahead because it was slow 2 times and it keeps reverting back 6 minutes to the original time it seems overnight. What would be causing this?

Please advise.

Alright, here goes. I do a fair amount of downloading programs etc. So I always keep my stuff backed up (music/vids). I do this so whenever my computer messes up I can just do a system restore with the discs that came with my computer to wipe everything and start from scratch.

Well, my idiot self lost one of the 3 discs so I can't do it anymore. I see a lot of OS boot dics on bit torrent webistes but I don't know anything about it. Is it safe? I know they are all .iso or .uif files which is a disc image that you extract and burn, but I dont know if I should trust it or not.

Is there any way I can burn another set of restore discs from my configurition that I already have? Or should I just bite the bullet and try one of the ones on BT?

Microsoft works 7.0, will not let me open up word processor or the task launcher. Everytime I try to open up the program it always saids: "Works cannot access one or more files it needs to run the word processor. What does that mean and can you give me step by step directions to resolve this situtation? I also try reinstalling several times and still progress..... Thanks!

I hate the game World of Warcraft. I want to uninstall the game, but when I go to the uninstall screen on the start menu. The game will not uninstall and the screen says

I tried looking into the drive itself, but it wont let me, since the programs in there are necessary for windows. I've also deleted more than i should of my programs, and i downloaded IObit SmartDefrag, but the percentage still wont move. Also, Chkdsk /f appears when i try to defrag my C drive, and I have no idea what it means. I would IMMENSELY appreciate help because this is the only computer me and my family have. Whenever I use Limewire to dwld movies file of abt 700-800 Mb, the download bar keeps showing 'Connecting' for a long time.
After a time of 5-10min it shows, needs more source or somethin like that.
This process goes on and on but the movie file doesn't dwlds not even 10 or 15 mb.
While with mp3 files or smaller files are downloaded systematically.
I use 128kbps modem.
So, tell me if i will be able to dwld a movie and how?

I have never been able to open a torrent file in my life. I can download them OK, but when I try to open them with a torrent-converter program, it never works.

ok, i can't get my videos on youtube, because it is an invalid file type. i downloaded 10 converters last night. only one works, and it leaves a watermark in my video....
