and is it safe?

Yeah, it's totally safe. I had a lot of problems to download it too. That site is so messed up! But this is what I did:
1. Go here; http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html
2. In the table, click on the settings which best suit you and your encoding needs
3. The page should automatically refresh when you've clicked. However, according to what you've clicked, the table may change, to show more options. You can choose to ignore.
4. Scroll down to below the table, there's a little rectangular bar (with a horizontal striped background). Click on that and your download should start automatically.

PS: Choosing the settings is the hardest part! So take your time. And although this option is longer than just downloading from a freeware site, it allows for you to personalise your program to make use easier. This is wisest since the interface is somewhat complicated to understand. So the site basically customizes your program so you won't have to stress over the complicated interface, and can use it almost instantly

ummmm... let me see, did you TRY TO GO TO THEIR WEBSITE and it is safe BECAUSE I USE IT
