Microsoft works 7.0, will not let me open up word processor or the task launcher. Everytime I try to open up the program it always saids: "Works cannot access one or more files it needs to run the word processor. What does that mean and can you give me step by step directions to resolve this situtation? I also try reinstalling several times and still progress..... Thanks!

It means that the Application is corrupted. This can happen if you have been using the Word trial software as Word and Works use shared files between each other and uninstalling Word can create a problem for Works. However, go to www.downloads.com and get "Open Office". It's free and has a powerful Word Processor, Database, Presentation etc. Basically, it's the open Source equivilent to Microsoft Office and the full version costs £0 compared to £100s for Office. Open Office can open, edit and save in all the Microsoft file formats as well as other formats.
