There is no Windows XP Service Pack 3 until maybe 2008, if ever.

It appears it contains many fixes aimed at stability and security.

with SP2 Microshit introduced windows firewall, and security center
what comes to SP3 i'm not sure if Microshit ever will wanted to push it since they have VISTA. They want to transfer every computer to 64-bit OS, that their goal.
Will see in the future about SP3

the difference? well, the biggest one is that sp2 is out, and sp3 won't be out until next year.
