i bought a new webcamera and my computer system is vista ultimate.but i cannot find a compatible driver for my system.my webcamera is Philips DMVC 300k. could you help me find a suitable driver? Thank you!

You should have checked that the WebCam was Vista compatable before buying it. The only option that you have is to go to the Philips Website, go to it's support pages and see if you can find a patch for your drivers. If not, it's a lesson learnt. Always, always check the compatability of any Hardware / Software product before purchasing.

The first thing you should do is try search out the vendors website for drivers , usually they give you a CD with the webcam .
Install it , it doesnt work then this is not supported.

You should have bought a Vista compatible cam but you try replacing it with vendor asking him for a exchange for a vista compatible one they may charge you a little more as it would be a high end one.

Vista doesnt support most of the drivers, it has most inbuilt drivers but few philips are not that famous enough , hence replacement would be a better bet.

There are none. Phillips does not support Vista with that webcamera. Take it back and make sure you purchase one that is Vista compatible.

Ask the manufacturer if the hardware or ask the sellers in the shop abt the drivers Cd.If it is original u ll get driver cd with webcam itself

Try out the Philips Intelligent Agent. Hope is should find relevant drivers for you
