i have probs with people hearing me , i can hear and see them , but they can only see me! brand new webcam. have reinstalled several times ...no go .. and have downloaded new software fromM.S 117megs! still the same

Hi, Recently I bought a domain name and webhosting space from VSNL Tata Indicom. I received the registration for both, the website hosting FTP & Webanliser User Name is received also. However I don't know what to do next, can someone pls guide me on how to create a website for my business. How to design and create the stuff I would like to put up, is there a program or software I need to install for this. I need a total guide for dummies. Thanks

I have been using an old version of MathCad on my Mac for some time. It runs under OS 9. I am planning an upgrade to a newer version of OS X that does not allow booting OS 9, and MathCad apparently no longer supports Mac. I would like to find a math program for the Max at a reasonable price (about $100). Any suggestions?

I have updated macromedia flash player and i still get "you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player" and i checked to see if it was off but it was already enabled does anyone have any ideas as to what i should do?

I bought a Samsung Optical Disc Drive DVD-Writer from Micro Center today and it's not reading my Flight Simulator X disc and it says it reads DVD-Rom discs and all the cords in the modem are connected. Samsung's technical support is the worst i've ever seen and it doesn't give any instructions on how to use it so I don't know even if its loaded and I tried registering the drive and it said there's an Unknown Server Error and this doesn't make any sense and for now on the bottom of my pc screen it says "You has not registered" which also doesn't make any sense. So if you know what's going on with this dvd-drive please help me.

I just downloaded limewire
and the connection is only staying at one bar
i checked the firewalls and everything and its not working!

I'm cutting and pasting a column of football records 12-0, 11-1, 10-2, etc into Microsoft Office Excel to do some calculations on those numbers. Essentially I want to convert them to a precice winning percentage. When I cut and paste them in (there's a lot of them) Excel converts them into dates ... callender dates. How do I get it to not do that?

well the computer is a gateway and we didn't have a problem yesterday in the morning but once vista premium was installed the sound stopped working and sometimes it works but u only hear background music and not voices the verison is Windows Vista Home Premium Gateway

I've looked around for websites to download it from, but all I get is 'turn on automatic updates and it will download automatically'. This is no good to me because Auto updates dont seem to be working for me. Yes, they are turned on, they just never pop up. What I am asking is does anyone know where I can download the latest version of Windows Movie Maker (or any version which can take screencaps) DIRECTLY - not through automatic updates or anything like that. i keep getting an error message load when i try to use msn.

GAIM came as part of my download of portable apps suite.

and i havent downloaded or messed around with anything other than how GAIM came on that.

can some one please tell me step by step how to get msn working? (using a hotmail.co.uk account)

i am new to portable software and other instant messaging clients so im sorry if im missing something obvious :D

Well I got Safari and I love it and it looks better and loads sites faster than other browsers. But a few issues are pissing be off. I find myself having to use IE for things that Safari for some reason can't do. Like when I go to CNN.com and try to watch a news clip, because they use windows media player to play their clips... It wont let me watch them, it shows like a hella old wmp version and just sits there so I have to use IE for stuff like that. And like if a site has a picture a lot of the time it will not display it... there will only be a blue box with a question mark. And its annoying. And for some reason when I use my yahoo fantasy baseball team I have the drag and drop lineup thing and it will not let me use it. And t will not edit the display settings on my Windows Live Mail (beta) acount either, the options botton is just not there! But is on IE. And I can't use Beta Yahoo mail or anything... what causes this?

I have a very small hard drive and want to put an Operating System on it, but I just realized the Windows OS's require a lot of space just to install. Any suggestions? Or does anyone happen to have an old version of Linux which has small requirements? Thanks!
