does anybody know any websites where i could get a utility to strengthen my wifi signal using the same antenna? for my wifi card? couldn't find any.

Well software won't change the amount of signal available that is determined by the power in the "transmitter" and the sensitivity of the "receiver"/card. So if there were some that claimed they could do that they would be selling snake oil.

The only way to improve signal is to use better antennas, more power, better radios.

You can get programs that help you diagnose issues such as signal to noise ratios.. Many times you can improve signal by changing channels! See NetStumbler it will show S/N ratio.
