Not another Vistannoying complainer ! Lol.
First of all, vistannoying will work with a minimum of 513 mb memory.
If you have checked with other people before you loaded the Vistannoying, you will be told that it is not generally compatible with many of the older software AND hardware. It is better if you have bought the gateway already preloaded with the \vistannoying premium. Less headaches but still a lot of learning hurdles.
Is your gateway brand new? Then take it back to where you bought both and have them reinstall Vistannoying for you.
I sympathize with you just because I also have a new laptop with preloaded vista and it is just an expensive paperweight right now since I find it mostly annoying to work with.

Hi,

Vista is an excellent operating system, but it is not totally compatable with every sound card and device out there.

I take it that you upgraded from Windows XP---that's why your sound worked yesterday, but not today.

Fortunately, the solution to this problem is VERY simple. All you have to do is go to the website of the company that made you sound card, and download the newest drivers for your card.

Or, you can run Microsoft Update, and it will download the new drivers for you (provided it can find the drivers).

I have remote access capabilities, and can log on to your computer and help you with this is you'd like. Just check out my website!
