Limewire says it has detected a firewall. I have turned off the firewall in Windows but it still says the same thing? Any one know how to fix this? Thanks

Control panel is restricted by a registry entry. I have the START> RUN> REGEDIT part down.. I'm trying to update some drivers and need to enable the option to view the system icon if not all.. Thank You

can someone please help. everytime i try to open peer guardian 2. this message keeps comeing up ... "this program requires Windows NT Version 5.02 Or Later" . what is Windows NT Version 5.02? and how do i fix the problem. i tryed to fix it by doing a format , but the problem is still there.

I have 100 site url's listed in excel sheets and all are hyperlinked and i want to remove hyperlinks from the url's listed in one go, but cannot. I have to select every cell and then right click > remove hyperlink option. But if i select all the files and right click there is no remove hyperlink option.

How can i remove all hyperlinks at one go?

i want to upgrade to vista, i want to us the upgrade adviser. i downloaded it, installed it, then when i go to use the program and click start scan, it scans for 3 seconds then go back to the first screen where it says start scan. no error message, no freeze up, nothing.

I purchased a vista from a shop, but I couldn't find out the authentication code or license number.
Please let me know how to install the cd. I couldn't find out the number on the crack folder. I tried to install and computer shows that some file error.
How to get the authentication code and how to identify which type of vista is that. I mean vista home/business/professional/etc

I have a program on my pc that I want to do fresh install of windows on. I paid for the program but I can't locate any of the info on it. Is that info stored on my pc to where I can write it down and reuse it after re downloading the program again?

why would a pc repair shop feel it needed to wipe a hd clean and do a complete fresh full install of windows 2000 pro instead of just doing an upgrade if the pc already has windows me on it?

well im using linux (fedora) at the moment and i want to use windows instead i put the windows cd in and i press any key and it comes up with the message saying its Checking hardware configuration and settings or something like that then it will go away and the screen will go black and there will be disk activity but it will just keep doing that. even if i take out the cd it will still do the same thing.
