There was a time when we used to use floppy disk small square shaped 3 1/2" disk. But as time changed they disappeared and Cd took their place.

But if you still have floppy disk and you got an old computer with floppy disk then just give a command to the item you want to save but you will have to choose Drive: C,D, or any H, F whatever.

Or if you do not have floppy drive in PC but you got floppy disk you have to have a external floppy disk drive then connect it with USB and with other drive it will appear and you can save in a normal way what ever you want to save just space is limited than CD or DVD.

I am in Japan and I got external floppy disk some where in my collection otherwise I would have lent you.

Hope this will help you.

place the floppy disk in your computer. then go to the top of the page on the left top to file. then select save to and choose the letter of your drive that has the floppy disk in it..this saves what you have on your floppy disk to your computer. make sure when you save it on your computer you create a file name so you can find the stuff you saved.. example. call the new file name new info with todays date.this way if you need to use the stuff from the floppy disk you wont have trouble finding it.

You can do this, no problem. It's easier than logging in and posting this question.

It does make a difference about which program you are in. In most cases:
you click File, then Save As.. and then choose A: in the drop down list of drives, type a filename in the Filename box and then click Save.
