but in the test results it says everythings ok,it just says that ive got infected file(s) in the box above..don`t know if i`m making any sense here because i don`t understand it myself..i`m using AVG.

I've just installed OpenOffice, and for the first look it is the same as Microsoft's product. Wikipedia says OpenOffice is less secure. Is there any other significant difference?

i have downloaded limewire...and lots of people have said it can really mess with your computer and send viruses!!!! can it? it seems fine at the moment..and i have avg fully installed and working..can limewire still harm my pc? should i uninstall limewire?

How Can I Reinstall A Programme That Came With The OS?

The programmes called Nero BackItUp and its gone bust. And I need to reinstall it. It came with my computer.. Im using WINXPSP2.

Hi, A nice gal from here told me to keep good track of my 2 small business expenditures, down to the penny, she is an acct. that I should buy Microsoft Office so I get excell ( my main need) and whatever. I would like to spend the least amount of money to get what I need. Can I go to ebay or such and buy an older model. I have a Compaq that is about 1 year old and Windows XP. I just need it to keep track of my ebay sellings etc. and they are rather small at this time, altho many. I also sell DT and would like to do that and make a home budget. She said stay with excell because it has what I need. Suggestions for where to buy used or cheap or what is this going to cost would really help too. thanks so much, remember, I can answer questions about parenting and elem ed and preschool and parenting,much experience here and of course I'll answer Christian or religious too :)

Recently, my computer keeps saying the "user32.dll" file has been relocated do to some other file. I need to get back to you on what that file was but it wasn't a .dll extension. It says I should contact my dll vendor but I have no clue where I can get a new [free] user32.dll. Anyone want to help me out? By the way if it helps I am running on windows xp.

Hi, I just bought the new mac & I wanted to find out if there was a burning/compression software that was free to download. I used to have a pc & i used dvd shrink with nero, is there a program like dvd shrink that can be used on a mac.

When I was in school I was in a class called multimedia design. In the class we did various things such as made stick men movies and edit and repair photos. There was a software in which he gave us an assignment. He told us to pick a song and rip it on the software. Then we would have to creatively present the lyrics as the music was playing. loading the XP-PRO im getting the following error:

File i\386\ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded the error code is 7.

Has anyone encountered this error and how were u able to fix it.

Microsoft website says to reset the BIOS to default, or u may have a faulty Ram, tried doing both,, still the same problem
